Cannabis Community Conversations: Preparing for Virginia’s Retail Market

As Virginia prepares for the future of its retail cannabis industry, community leaders and industry experts are coming together for an important discussion.

“Cannabis Community Conversations: How to Prepare for Virginia’s Retail Market” will take place Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Courthouse Community Center, 29 Stafford Avenue, Stafford, VA.

The free event will explore Virginia’s proposed retail marijuana regulations, industry opportunities, and what residents and entrepreneurs should know as the market develops.

Organizers are also seeking vendors interested in participating in the event.

🎙️ This week on Black Fredericksburg Radio’s Community Conversations, we welcomed Lonnie Hayes III, Virginia State Director of Minorities for Medical Marijuana (M4MM), to discuss the cannabis community and this upcoming event.

📻 Be sure to tune in to Community Conversations Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 7:30 PM!

🌿 Event registration is FREE, but space is limited.
